Swan Financial is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience in doing business with us. The confidentiality of your private, non-public information is very important to us. This policy defines how we handle information you provide to Swan Financial. Any personal information which we receive from you, or other sources will be treated according to this policy. We encourage you to read this privacy policy to ensure you understand our privacy practices. 

The Type of Information We Gather 

When you wish to be pre-qualified or apply for a mortgage loan, it is necessary for Swan Financial to collect personal information about you. We may gather information about you in writing, in person, by telephone, or electronically. Additionally, we will be compiling information about you from third parties, such as credit bureaus, the government and others. 

Personal information that we will gather will include your name, Social Security number, mailing address, telephone number, email address, income, assets, debts and other information required for us to determine whether you may be pre-qualified or approved for a mortgage loan from Swan Financial. 

Protections of Your Personal Information 

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access or use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. We restrict access to non-public information about you to those individuals who need to know that information to

provide our products and services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect your non public personal information. 

Sharing your personal information 

Swan Financial, like all financial companies, needs to share our customer’s personal information for everyday business purposes. Consistent with the requirements of consumer protection laws, including the Fair and Accurate Transactions Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Borrower’s acceptance of this Privacy Policy authorizes us to share information related to the Borrower’s non-public information with our affiliate lenders for loan approval. 

What Information will Swan Financial Share? 

Swan Financial will share only that information about the Borrower that is relevant to qualifying and approving the Borrower for a mortgage loan. This information includes, but is not limited to, credit history, credit score, financial obligations and other general financial information. 

What Information will Swan Financial NOT Share? 

Swan Financial will NOT provide the Seller with a copy of the Borrower’s mortgage loan application or credit report. Swan Financial will not disclose any of the Borrower’s account numbers. 

When Does this Authorization Terminate? 

Except for the purpose described in the following sentence, this authorization terminates at the earliest to occur of: (i) settlement of the home purchase; (ii) Borrower’s withdrawal of the loan application; (iii) Swan  Financials denial of the loan application; or (iv) Borrower’s written notification to terminate this authorization. Even after these events occur, Swan Financial may continue to share information covered by this policy for internal data analytics purposes, but not for purposes of the Seller or any other party marketing any goods or services to the Borrower.

You will also receive the Swan Financials Privacy Notice that provides detailed information about our protection of your information. We do not disclose any non-public information about our customers to any third-party, except as permitted by law. 

Mobile Information Sharing 

We do not share any mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data Transfer Commitment 

We do not transfer consumer data to external organizations under any  circumstances, even with consent. 

Opt-In and Opt-Out Rights 

Swan Financial Home Loans respects your privacy. By opting into our SMS  messaging service, you agree to follow terms regarding how we handle your data. 

  • Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, mailing  address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates.  The information will be collected via the website contact form, email, or  third-party reservation systems. 
  • Data Usage: We collect opt-in verbally from our customers. They can opt in to receive messages either in person at our physical location, or over the  phone if they call our business. When interacting with customers, staff is  trained to ask if the customer would like to opt in to messaging using the  following script: By providing your phone number and agreeing to  receive texts, you consent to receive text messages from Swan Financial  Corporation regarding Account Notification. Consent is not a condition of  purchase. Message frequency varies based on communication needs.  Message & data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to unsubscribe at  any time or HELP for assistance.   • Data Security: We protect your data with secure storage measures to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed  to your SMS service. You may request deletion at any time. 
  • MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY. Your mobile carrier may  charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not  have an unlimited texting or data plan. 
  • Messages are recurring, and message frequency varies.

  • Opt-Out: You can opt out of the SMS list at any time by texting, emailing,  or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to esexton@swanhelp.com or 502-645- 0102. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS to confirm you  have unsubscribed and we will remove your number from our list within 24 hours. 
  • You can send HELP for additional assistance, and you will receive a text  including our phone number, email and website. We are here to help you.
  • Non-Sharing Clause: We do not share your date with third parties for  marketing purposes. Swan Financial will not sell, rent, or share the  collected mobile numbers.
